Eve Worth is the Jenny Wormald Junior Research Fellow in Women’s History at St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Her fellowship is linked to Women in Humanities and one of their key research strands on social mobility. Eve uses oral history testimony to research the mechanisms of women’s social mobility in Britain since 1945. She analyses how women’s mobility experience has been inflected by gender and generation. Eve has recently been jointly awarded a Wellcome ISSF grant to set up an interdivisional project on ‘Doing Well? Social Mobility, Health and Well-Being in Britain’. Eve was the Women in Humanities Coordinator for the academic year 2016-17 and is now the ECR representative on the Steering Committee.
